Underwater Imaging Surveys
We have several systems at our disposal in order to provide geodetically correct imagery of the bottom. Depending on the requirements of our clients we can implement our shallow water tow fish that can be utilized either as a towed system or configured as a hull mount unit. For deeper survey's we can bring in our Klein 3900 tow fish system with superb range and image capability. When these two systems are tied in with GPS and post processed with SonarWeb Pro Software we can provide geodetically correct mosaics giving the client a complete map of the survey area in HTML and JPEG formats. This type of reporting is an elegant way of providing data sets that allows for easy distribution of data through the internet or through a clients own Local Area Network.
For marine construction applications we can use our Kongsberg 1071 scanning sonar which can be mounted on a pole in a cage on a tripod or on our SeaEye Falcon ROV. Some of the applications for this versatile system would be for visual real time material placement, excavator digging, trash gate surveys, bridge footings, scouring on concrete docks, inside and outside pipe exploration etc.
